Total lunar eclipse of 28-09-2015 

On september 28, a lunar eclipse was visible in Europe. It was a beautiful eclipse with nice colouring. During totalty, the colour of the ecluipsed moon varied from orange near the rim of the shadow to deep dark red - to brown in the shadow centre which corresponds to a Danjon estimation of 1.5 to 2.
