Royal palace, Forrest and See, 18-8-2012
On this first tropical day in 2012, Corine and I decided to take a nice walk into the Utrecht Hill Site forrests near Baarn. On the way we paid a visit to the former Palace of Soestdijk which was partly opened for public and also hosted a nice exposition on the famous Dutch graphic artist Escher. After a nice walk through forrest and blooming heather fields we decided to cool down at the beaches of Zandvoort. It was after all the hottest weekend in Holland since 1994. After a nice meal, we probably watched one of the most beautiful Dutch sunsets. Here are some pictures, see also Cordablogg.
