Our primary mission is to contribute to the well being of the sick and marginalized people in the Jaipur area. Official figures put the percentage of Indians living below the poverty line at 27.5%, but on the basis of consumer expenditure it is estimated that 78 percent of people in this country spend less than Rs. 20 (30 eurocents) a day (Hindustan Times, 29th December 2009)! and have as such no money to spend on health care or medicines.

Another important goal is to provide information to the poorest people to improve their hygienic situation, thus preventing the spreading of infections and diseases. Therefore a mobile clinic visits neighbouring schools and other places on a regular basis (i.e. three times a week) to provide the local people information and basic treatment.

The patients pay a symbolic price for the treatments however the treatment is free for the poorest.
